Today, the “Capacitiamoci!” initiative took place at Palazzo Pacanowski in Naples, the headquarters of the Interdepartmental School of Economics and Law of the University of Naples Parthenope. The event was organised by the Law Department of the University of Naples with the aim to introduce students to the opportunities for internships and apprenticeships offered in collaboration with the main professional orders and official partners. Among the latter was NexumStp, the business consultancy company that assists over 22,000 SMEs across Italy through labour, legal, tax and innovation consultancy.
Parthenope University and NexumStp come together to create a bridge between education and work
NexumStp S.p.A.
An alliance of people working to create a shared promise, a fair and transparent commitment, and a source of mutual growth and evolution.
The aim of the collaboration between NexumStp and the University is to create an exchange of experiences to make the encounter between education and the world of work as effective as possible. With this in mind, the “Capacitiamoci” initiative was launched today. Student representatives, representatives of the university’s orientation and placement services, and university partners were present to create a learning pathway that combines theoretical knowledge with professional experience.
Paolo Stern and Gianluca Petricca, respectively President and CEO of NexumStp, who were present at the initiative, commented: “NexumStp firmly believes in the synergies that can be created between universities and the world of work. For this reason, NexumStp has enthusiastically embarked on this journey with the Parthenope University, which will allow us to train students, shaping their talents and skills on the real and most current needs of the labour market. Thanks to the experience gained in direct contact with tens of thousands of SMEs across Italy, we hope to be able to make an effective contribution to the skills of future professionals and consultants”.
As part of the partnership, NexumStp will host trainees and interns thanks to a two-year agreement with the LaReLab laboratory of the Department of Law, headed by Professor Edoardo Ales, which carries out research on labour relations and human resources using a multidisciplinary approach.
“Today’s initiative,” stated Marco Esposito, President of the Faculty of Law, “is testament to the efforts of the entire University and the Department of Law to create concrete placement and orientation activities that are consciously linked to the professional and corporate worlds. This will enable our students to be better integrated into the world of work”.
