The agreement for the entry of F&M Group into NexumStp has been signed. The two major business consultancy firms are joining forces to offer increasingly diversified and comprehensive services to entrepreneurs and companies in an efficient manner. In a complex economic moment, especially for SMEs, the aim of the two companies is to guide their clients through the construction of solid, healthy businesses.
F&M Group, together with Rome-based firm BD & Partners, has around 150 accountants, lawyers, labour consultants, administrators and employees, and is present in 15 provinces, primarily in northern Italy: Mantua – where the F&M Consulenti d’Azienda holding is based – Bergamo, Bolzano, Cuneo, Ferrara, Genoa, Modena, Monza and Brianza, Parma, Pordenone, Reggio Emilia, Turin, Trento and Verona, as well as Messina. Its areas of activity, managed by 26 business units, range from the more traditional – such as administration, tax and labour – to high value-added services of a strategic and managerial nature, with specialist skills in company and tax law, financial statements and accounting, corporate finance, labour consultancy and M&A.
Massimo Scaglioni, founding partner and managing director of F&M Group, comments: “The strength of this agreement lies in the combination of different professional skills that complement each other, creating a unique model. We share this model with NexumStp, as well as the vision of consultants, who can offer entrepreneurs personalised local support with the tools and opportunities of a large operator. These advantages have now been doubled thanks to this merger, which makes economies of scale, resource optimisation, and service diversification possible”.
The operation is part of an ambitious national expansion project that Nexumstp has been implementing since 2019 through the acquisition of new partners. Thanks to the partnership with F&M Group, NexumStp is able to extend its presence in a capillary manner in northern Italy by strengthening commercial penetration through the 26 business units of the F&M Group.
“Thanks to this operation, our presence in the SME consultancy and professional services market has become primary. We are a company with 59 offices in Italy and more than 500 people working towards the growth of Italian companies. Our experience shows that combining the organisational skills of a large group with the capillarity of personal relationships of trust in local areas is the new way of providing professional services to businesses. All the more so in a country as complex as ours and in an economic context that the digital transition and the pandemic have made more complex,” Paolo Stern, president of NexumStp, proudly states. “Knowledge of the problems and strengths of each geographical area and the specificities of its production chains are elements that only those who live in the area can know. Given the huge importance of local regulations, having established specialists in every Italian region is a unique advantage for our group. Because of this and because of its considerable experience in the field, F&M Group is an extraordinary ally for our company’s growth”, concludes Stern.
